As secrets are revealed and Isra's sight returned, Isra will have to choose between duty to her people and the beast she has come to love. Definitely a twist on the Beauty & the Beast we're all used to (the Disney version) and an interesting world that was created with the changes. I loved the characters and the way I couldn't always guess what was going to happen next with the plot.

This book is heavy on romance and light on action. Aspects of Disney's original tale are prominente, but used in entirely different ways. The world Stacey Jay created for this new adventure was exciting and adventerous. There are some unexpected twists in the plot, and the ending was very refreshing. However, there were times were I found the book rushed. In the beginning mostly, but it was no major flaw. All in all, this book is worth a good read.
