Good Tidings and Great Joy

Having witnessed Sarah Palin as a politician on the national stage running as vice president in the McCain campaign and having read further about her since, I believe she is completely unsuited to any type of political office. Her understanding of any issue is entirely simplistic, so I was interested to read this book as it is promoted as a subject close to her heart and I thought she might be able to demonstrate an ability to explain something she claims to hold dear. Regretably, she cannot explain why Christ is important to Christmas and seems to have no interest in explaining why he is. The book is more concerned with telling us how perfect the Palin family is, with reminders at opportune moments of Sarah Palin's claimed core beliefs and values, all addressed through self serving statements. This is a person who has almost no understanding of anything complex and, worryingly, has no interest in understanding any subject that requires thought and consideration. This book is entirely worthless on every level, save in so far as it shows how deplorable a person Sarah Palin is.

Bravo to that comment. It's astounding that this grifter family is still raking in money and getting book deals.
