This latest edition is a treasure trove of fun and exciting photography, maps and links that take young readers into a zone they never knew existed. If your young reader is a fan of animals, NG Kids has left no stone unturned. The section on “Lifestyles of the Rich and Furry” is a head turner. Canine Castles, Kitty Glitter which shows wigs, fashion accessories and faux fur are just a few of the must haves for any pet. Also included are pets that jet-set on planes and live in the lap of luxury as they dine and fly first class. Tiger babies, coyote pups and meercats are here too. Readers will also get supercharged as they learn about their bodies supercomputer, better known as the human brain. This incredible “Super Science” section answers questions about birth order, snack foods, body myths, planets, cool inventions and so much more. If you have kids that are crafty, then they should happily visit the “Culture Connection” section, where they can learn to make costumes, learn about world celebrations, make snow globes and paint their hands to look like animals.

Parents and teachers will love having this guide for quick reference or to keep kids quietly engaged and learning with every turn of the page. Games, puzzles and homework help, make this a must have tool.
