These are truly simple pleasures! There are some good ideas for home entertaining & some good, basic recipes that would be universally appealing to guests at any party.

It would be easy to adapt most of her tabletop & general home entertaining ideas to using local, readily available items that would just add a great NW twist to her basic ideas.

It seemed to me that this book took a more mature approach to entertaining, while some of the other books I've seen this summer have been more 'kid oriented'.
