I thought the book was good. I wasn't too keen on the vampire aspect but she is aiming to be contemporary in her storytelling. This is a fine storyteller and I have read all her books except the non-fiction.

Another good read from Paretsky. However, her other books are better. This one was hard to read at first but then it got more interesting.
