The writing and storyline are in really poor taste. Returned after reading only the first chapter. A shame because I have loved Emily Giffins previous books.

IMO - this is Emily Griffin's weakest novel so far. I could NOT get behind the love story and found it really kind of messed up. That being said, I find her books like crack and I ploughed through it in a couple of days.

I agree with ehbooklover. Totally inappropriate and, well frankly....creepy. I just couldn't feel the characters, I didn't feel connected to one of the. Pass this book by.

Usually love Giffin's books, but have to say I only finished this one because the description made it sound like something interesting was going to happen. I kept hoping it would get better, it didn't.
Wish I could get the time back I wasted on this one. Story was so, so predictable.

This book was terrible! I loved all the previous Emily Giffin books, but this was just bad.

I really enjoyed her first few books and expected more from this one. Unfortunately it was not a good plausible story and was a little creepy. I read thru it but it was predictable and just not very good at all. Hope she does better in her future novels.

Not a typical Emily Giffen novel. There's a LOT of football in it. If you're not a football fan, you might want to skip this book.

A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "This was a very easy summer read. Fans of Emily Giffin's other books will enjoy this book as well."

This woman centric book may be considered "Chick Lit." However, the plot revolves round Shea, the central character's love for college football and yes the coach too; so men will enjoy it . The characters have been sketched well and the plot flows along smoothly as expected. There is a certain comfort in this and the ending is satisfactory.
