I loved this book. Beautifully written. Likable characters. I thought the relationship developing between Adele and Frank was lovely. It's one of those books that you know isn't going to end well... but I actually really liked the ending. A great read.

Nice story, easy read. Midway through the book Frank teaches Henry to make a peach pie - it made me actually want to try to make the pie crust too. A wonderful narrative description of how to make a peach pie, mmmm mmmmm.

After seeing the movie I wanted to read the book. The movie did a really good job of portraying the book. I liked the book more just because it provided more backstory that the movie couldn't have done. In both the book and the movie I thought the romance between Adele and Frank was a little rushed and unexplained, but it is portrayed as it is seen through the eyes of Henry so I guess that's understandable. I would actually say that this is more like a YA coming of age book than an adult romance type novel. If you're looking for a romance book I wouldn't necessarily recommend this one.

Well-written and an interesting story. Wondering if the movie will be good.
