In the Klein series there seem to be many people who agree to delve into sleuthing without regard to their normal incomes, work, safety and privacy issues, whilst the police budget and staffing are being hobbled. Frieda doesn't really offer that much that your average Bobby would not have seen from the start, and as usual people die through her errors - it would be so nice if the authors could work out how to add more crime without Frieda being the cause. Irritating Frieda habits continue to make me marvel that she is considered a genius instead of a misfit. Sigh.

A riveting read for a weekend. Complex fascinating characters and a storyline that shows you just never know what's going on in "happy families".
