This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance. Very predictable but still entertaining.

This is one silly, over-the-top 'action film' with plenty of gratuitous killings. If you are looking for anything remotely close to the 007-type espionage thriller, you will be disappointed. I am just surprised that good actors like Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren agreed to participate in it. I hear the original RED is better, though.

well ... of course, it is a sequel. Helen Mirren owned what there was of this movie!

I never saw the first one, Red, but picked this up thinking it looked like it might be mildly entertaining. And it was! I actually really enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would. So I checked out the original, the first Red, and was disappointed. Go figure. It's not often that a sequel movie is better than the first but it was in this case.

We loved the movie. As good as the first one. Just a very strange last scene though... (Scratching my head!) Now, on the matter of the scene with the bodies being dumped in acid. Some acids will dissolve plastic, fiberglass and enameled metal. But most common acids will not likely. So, the lovely, charming Hellen Mirren was doing it right—except, perhaps, when it comes to the plastic gloves… ;-)
