A big fat yawn.

Even though I'm an advid knitter and have enjoyed her pattern books, I find this book of essays by Clara Parkes to be as exciting as watching paint dry. Comparing bits of one's life to components of knitting doesn't work here. The best example: driving in traffic is like the directions of cables in a sweater. Yeah, so what? You drive straight of you lanes left or right. It's not worth writing about.
