I'm not a big fan of Patricia Polacco, but every so often, she writes a book I think is worth reading! This is one of them! the story is about a family's treasured keepsake, a simple cup, that keeps the family together. Nice intro into another culture. Older children and adults will appreciate this immigrant story. The illustrations are lovely

This is a story of family tradition and most of all love. The tea cup from the original tea set in the story is still in the Author's family today. Wonderful, heartwarming story by an Exceptional Author.
