Was better than I thought it would be. Happily surprised!

Surprisingly enough, this is a pretty good movie. Glad to see Jon Bernthal (who played Shane in The Walking Dead) hit the big screen. Watch this film and you’ll understand that dealing drugs is not worth it.

This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance.

A bit slow for an action thriller as it had to establish and reinforce the feelings of a father who would do anything to free his jailed son; also nice crash special effects on cars trying to stop a semi-trailer truck in the freeway chase scenes -- no contest though a bit absurd that anyone tried.

Dwayne Johnson is getting better with these dramas and he was particularly good in this movie, He held his own with the likes of Susan Sarrandon and Barry Pepper and he also brings the action! Great movie.

Pleasantly surprised, the Rock did a pretty good job of acting and I think what helped, he didn't play the macho guy beating someone up every 10 minutes.

Barry Pepper was also very good, a fine actor.

Great movie ! Great action ! Apparently based on true events. Decidedly a departure from D.J.'s other (typical) action films. This film typfies the governments ability to change a citizens life dramatically at whim.
lol@tj_is_cool That wasn't action? I thought the film was loaded with flying bullets and debri. Driving fast, car/truck crashes and general shoot em up and threats. At the same time one must consider: where there are tense moments in film, this Is Action !

This movie was phenomenal. Definitely a must see! It is so sad how the system is set up. Setting up a friend for a reduced sentence...How is it that a first time non-violent drug offender sentencing is longer than one for manslaughter, rape, child molestation, or bank robbery? Maybe the priorities of the federal law are a little askew...checkout: www.TakePart.com/snitch

I was very surprised at this movie. It was a good story, well told, and well acted. The entire cast was very good. I didn't think that I would like it much because it starred Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. "The Rock". I really like that he portrayed an average guy and not a superman. He was always stuck between a rock and a hard place throughout the story, and his size and strength couldn't help him at all. He's really a pretty good actor when he's playing roles unlike his usual ones as an action hero. I would recommend seeing this one.
