Scattered threads of stories come together, and you don't know how it will tie together until it ends, and it does. Starts slow, but builds into a complex narrative of complex lives.

What a struggle, even with ear buds & sleeping half the time. I agree with tdmenten1 & sjmitra.... clumsy, disjointed.

Wow! Gripping page-turner. No convenient endings here. A darker story that spins a wild tale.

Not only did the story not hold together, the writing was often clumsy with awkwardly constructed sentences and figurative language that felt randomly placed into the narrative. The characters are flat and in the end, it didn't matter who had done what to whom.

Struggled through a whole chapter of pointless dialogue and pretentious prose and gave up.
