One of my best summer reads. A good story with characters that you really care about.

This novel offers likeable characters and interesting subject matter. Although the issues in this book are serious, the relaxed, simple writing style make this an undemanding and quick book to read.

Thought provoking and well written. Eugenics program in Southern states quite abused... An eye opener.

"Ivy and Mary was here", words that will be etched on my mind for a while. Very interesting subject matter.

I like all Diane Chamberlain's books that I've read so far, but I think this one is my favorite.

One of the best books I've read. Chamberlain's characters seem so real and the story is wonderful. If you liked "The Help', be sure to read this one, too.

Could not put this book down. Sad beautifully written story. Eager to read more of her books as this is the first one I've read.

this was an excellent story and well written-

This was a book I truly could not put down. I put aside a few of my chores so I could devote more time to the reading of this book. Excellent.
