This is a nice change from some of his earlier work. One of the best Telecaster players alive today. I think he was just trying to make a great record here and he succeeded. For those who don't agree, perhaps you need to just listen a couple of times and not compare it to his other records. He took some flak for tackling some of the issues he writes about on this disc, particularly Accidental Racist...but considering how many country artists don't even write their own material I have to give him credit... his writing is better than 99% of the guys/gals out there, even on this record. As an artist myself, I've always felt that the worst thing one can do is "play it safe" and have regrets later (and not just in your art, but in life in-general). He took some chances and not everyone thinks it's cool? I'm sure he sleeps very well at night despite some crappy reviews. Thank you Mr. Paisley! Nice job as always.

I usually love Paisley's CDs especially the earlier work, but this was a disappointment. Too slick and gimmicky.

Not sure what Brad was trying to do with this cd but for me it didn't work and was a waste of his talent.
