I dunno what all the hoopla was about over this movie. My friends and grandparents really liked it but my mom and I found it absolutely boring. Yes, Bond, Q, and the ladies were pretty to look at, and the visual effects and soundtrack were excellent, but I found the movie lacking in the plot department.
P.S. Now I'm afraid of Kimono Dragons.

Pretty good. Lots of visual action and excitement. Semi-believable plot line. Not as "over the top" as most other 007 films. It drags in a few spots. If the director had cut 20-30 minutes, it would have been better. Overall, for 007 and spy film fans, worth a watch.

Daniel Craig is my favourite Bond but this is my least favourite of Craigs Bond films. Still glad I saw it and I'll always see Bond films in the theatre first.....

The long awaited Bond movie Skyfall I believe was worth the wait. Daniel Craig is not only my favorite Bond but is the only actor who has come close to the Bond that Ian Flaming made back in the late fifties and sixties. There is no silly childish punce like those of Roger Moores Bond and the gadgets are not over use as like all others. There is a strong character arch hair a for Bond and thanks to both the scriptwriter and Daniel Craig we get a real Bond and not some smooth action hero. We see the darkness that we only got on the pages of the novels in Bond. Those who only know him from the many often silly over the top movies must under stand that the real Bond is a govermant field agant, paid to kill people. He is a man who lives in tough cold world it does not role of his shoulders. This is the true bond and I'm happy to have another movie with him in it instead of the farical varsion that everyone else seems to love. But that's just my view take it as it is.

Very good. Even though Connery is the best Bond, Craig is a very, very close second. One of the best ones yet!

One of the worst Bonds ever. I really like Daniel Craig as Bond but everything sucked about this one. The plot was stupid, no car chase, gadgets boring, 1 Bond girl (unless you count M), poor villain (even though Bardem was excellent) etc. The only reason they made this movie is to remove M from the series. Garbage, stay away.

My favorite Bond ever. In keeping with the recent trend of showing heroic figures' darker and more human side, this James Bond is older, broken in body and spirit, and not at all interested in putting himself back in the line of fire. Of course M, played by the incomparable Dame Judi Dench, is able to motivate him in the end--I won't say how, it'd spoil it for you--in fact, saying anything else at all will spoil this for you. Don't try to learn more, just see it for yourself!

The best single 007 film I have experienced and perhaps the best Bond since Sean Connery, the archetype.
