Familiar police stories crammed into 110 minutes as seen by two young LAPD peace officers. The jumpy camera work and non-stop profanity took awhile to get accustomed to. However. the fast pace criminal encounters faced by the pair of cops were all good.

Great entertainment. Haven't we all heard swear words by now? The movie is rated R, so it should be no surprise.

Worth bearing with all the swearing especially in the first part. The film shows the actual life on the beat of two cops in LA. Drugs, violent crime, gangs. Gets better as it develops. More of a documentary than a Hollywood production, but the content is what is interesting. A true insight into cops thinking, acting, behaving, and their life. Not very likable, but would you do their job! I do not agree with the critical reviews from people who refuse to face the real world out there.

Despite an annoying video-cam gimmick, this film is a high-energy blend of violence and a hetero cop bromance. The vulgar male-bonding humor rings true, but an unlikely twist ending leads to a typical situation complained about by minority male actors.

I found this to be a super intense movie with a slightly unexpected ending. The violence and the language are quite extreme, so be forewarned.

The half-star is a courtesy, not a reflection of this movie's worth. End Of Watch is just awful, too violent, too predictable and too inaccurate for words. I'd say it has too much swearing except that cops and hoods love their cusswords, the problem is that the cusswords LAPD love to use are not apparent in this movie. The camera work was trying for that "cinema verite" style but instead of suceeding in it's verisimilitude only inspired headache-imilitude. Other than bad camera work and awful acting, especially on the gang banger's behalf, there isn't much left. Left is where I should have left it... on the shelf. NEXT!

Predictable, boring, extremely violent, terrible camera work, a waste of time
