Add a CommentBaldacci has done better, not his best. Too much repetition. Doesn't get your interest until page 224.
I have read ALL of David's novels and this is the first where I literally couldn't finish it. It was so full of idiocy & cluelessness in terms of a high-level plot and investigation I frankly can't tell you just ONE thing that was off. And when I saw that the other readers rated it so high, I felt I needed to respond. I don't know if it is because I have read other novels where the most recent methods are used in terms of investigating, high tech, etc., or David has hit a low patch. Anyway, am REALLY disappointed. Will, the hero and the other characters behave stupidly throughout even for the FBI, CIA, or HSA. Really embarassing in fact for David.
If you like fast continuous action and riveting intrigue, this is a must read. Definitely one of Baldacci's best and all his previous were good to great.Definitely falls in the couldn'tputitdown category.
