Add a CommentMonsters love colours - who knew? When an exuberant trio of primary-coloured monsters meets three gray monsters, they "scribble, scribble, mix, dance, and wiggle" until they create bright new colours for their friends. Kirkus Reviews calls this wild and energetic exploration of colour and colour-mixing "groovy." For another book about creatures who experiment with primary colours, try Ellen Stoll Walsh's Mouse Paint. Picture books newsletter - April 2013.
Mike Austin has created a wonderful picture book for little ones. Not only is this book a beautifully illustrated colorful book it is educational. Austin cleverly introduces the subject of primary colors and what colors are created when they are mixed. Your toddler will love it and so will you!
Great concept book for preschoolers learning about colour.
A fantastic mess of colours with lots of action! The little monsters are very friendly looking and cute. No scary monsters here. Great for toddlers!
