Add a CommentThis is an imaginative vampire story that is obviously the start of a series. It's a quick easy read that would have been elevated with a better job of editing. There are many places where you kind of do a mental double take because something is stated as a fact that has never been mentioned before as if the author assumed the reader knew. There are leaps in the plot that leave you feeling that maybe your copy is missing a few pages. Also, despite containing scenes of a sexual or violent nature, I would label it juvenile fiction. The heroine is a teenager & much of the dialogue reflects that. I probably won't read any sequels but if you're a fan of the Twilight series this may be for you.
Oh my gosh! I was reading this book on wattpad then she got it published, so I didn't get to finish it. I'm so glad the library is getting it. It's soooooooo gooooooood!!!!!!!!!
Is this the alternate North American cover? Wow. I prefer Emma Rogers' original cover...this just look so bad. D:
