Comment
Add a CommentThis is a very over indulgent effort with the big feedback sound of NY & CH stretching average songs into 16 minute + epic guitar soundscapes. Not for everyone. Probably not for most people or even a few.
I am a big Neil Young fan from the early days but I couldn't get into this record. I found it rambling and unfocused, which Neil Young & Crazy Horse usually are, but none of the songs were particularly memorable. One listen and I was done.
I guess it's time to send the Horse off to the glue factory. Should have called it 'Lethbridge Pil' - as in "drink 12 before you play this cd". Could have got it all on one disc, too.
