If you enjoyed First Position I recommend Every Little Step which follows dancers as they audition for the Broadway revival of a Chorus Line.

I'm not a huge fan of ballet but I truly enjoyed this DVD. I was totally charmed by each of the dancers featured, and awe struck at their amazing talent, dedication and perseverance. I was on my seat rooting for each performer during the section where they were being filmed at the Youth America Grand Prix. This documentary was so engrossing, I watched all the "special features" too!

Well, I don't love ballet, but I loved this documentary. I do appreciate the hard work and perseverance of these young athletes and their families. I think the tempo and editing in the film was great. Both my granddaughters loved watching it with me. There's some suspense because one injury (seen as minor in other sports) can derail a career.

It is well done. I would like to see more of this type of film. There is an Asian film similar which is more of a movie, movie.

Very engrossing look at the sacrifices and rewards that come with being a young ballet dancer (or the parents of those dancers).

Interesting movie but it shows that the kids have to devote almost all of their time to practice in order to succeed.
