Summary
Add a SummarySafety Not Guaranteed is about three hungry magazine writers (including the brilliant Aubrey Plaza from Parks and Rec and Jake Johnson from New Girl) who, after joking around about a funky personal ad that reads “Wanted: Someone to go back in time with me… Safety not guaranteed” decide to make the seeker the subject of their next great story. Mark Duplass plays the charmingly paranoid time traveler who might just be saner than the rest of us.

Add a CommentQuirky, fun, and light-hearted. This movie is odd enough that it definitely won't be for everyone, but I really enjoyed it!
Very boring, not funny.
My favourite new movie. Enjoyed it so much. It is definitely one I want to go out and buy now so that I can watch it many more times!! Aubrey Plaza <3
Weirdest.movie.ever. But oddly not terrible. I mostly enjoyed it, kept my interest but probably would not watch it again.
Odd and slow sometimes but I really enjoyed it. Who hasn't wanted to go back in time and change just one thing? Jeff and his old girlfriend, Darius and her mom. What would you go back and change? Email me. Bet you won't. 3 1/2 stars leaning towards four.
Kept my interested til the end, but wouldn't feel the need to watch it again. It is an awkward film in the saim vein as "Little Miss Sunshine" but not as funny. I was disappointed that there wasn't really actual time travel actually involved in the movie. I really liked Kenneth's character...but found Plaza's character mildly irritating -- sort of a 'no emotion' Kirsten Stewart performance...but a tad more human. Worth watching -- once.
Quirky, fun, unexpected.
Quirky, indie film. Weak performances, rough camera work, and spotty scripting...but it all works. I was 130th in line to check out one of 30 copies in the system- I've been waiting over 2 months. I watched it last night on Netflix!
I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie. The premise was intriguing, but I didn't know if the movie was actually any good. I must say, I enjoyed it. Sometimes I thought I knew where it was going, and it went there, but it got there in a way that was somewhat different than I thought. It is rated R, but it is for a small bit of language and some sexual content. I liked how the ending left you wanting more and I think others will enjoy the challenge of coming to their own conclusions.
Interesting. This wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it was supposed to be an action flick, and it definitely wasn't. It was about relationships. How do you know if someone is a genius or just plain crazy? Once you know, does it change the way you feel about them? While the story is something I may think about for a while, it's not one I'll probably ever re-watch. As it was, it took me three days to finish. I kept finding something more interesting to do.
