Add a CommentI enjoyed this movie even though the teenager is rather smug and self centered but maybe that's just really the way things are nowadays.
I loved this movie, favorite of the year! But in the end it felt like it was cut short and left alot of my questions unanswered
excelente movie
Eva and Cierra work while off each other. The other issues are too glaring. The movie is a take of coming of age of both mother and daughter and tentative relationship it entails. Some of the issue are major such as sex, drugs an bullying that are glossed over. The conclusion too fairy-tale. There never was any real climax. The younger girl is called a slut and had drinks thrown on her for trying to sleep with the boy (which he lied about to save face) should liked, but the movie made it seem like all was just a bad movement and not something that recently was the cause of young girls commiting suicide.
This movie was better than I thought it would be I recommend it.
An ok movie. I think Eva Mendes is pretty and a great actress. The little girl annoyed me throughout the whole movie , the actions she did and how she changed who she really was. The plot was stupid , and didn't really have no meaning. The only thing I found cute was the healing process of the mother and daughter reationship. If you liked this movie I recommended seeing LOL which basically has the same "plot" as this movie. The only difference is that in this movie the girl is younger , and in "LOL the girl who is played by Miley Cyrus is a teenager around 17 - 18 years old. This movie is not for kids. 18 years and older. 3 and a half stars.
Teen girl and her relationship with her mother.
