Average Rating: 3.5 stars out of 5.
That night, Samantha Jones was doing what she always did: just trying to get by. Left to make her own way on the mean streets of East St. Louis, the pretty twenty-three-year-old single mother supported herself and her son as best she could by repo-ing cars. When she hooked her junker of a tow truck up to the BMW she'd been sent to haul in, the last thing she expected was to find a beaten, bloody man in the in the trunk--or to be catapulted into a terrifying fight to survive. Pantrero was minutes away

Started this novel early in the morning and got nothing done all day until I finished it! Robards reels you into the gripping tale in the first pages and you won't want to put it down for anything!

A Harlequin romance, but likable characters. Sam is tough, vulnerable, sexy and desirable, Tyler is lovable, Danny is almost too masculine to be believable. Plot is ok, and like most "thrillers" bizarre enough to keep the pages turning.

I expected a drama but got a Harlequin romance. What tough guy has a bullet wound and is beaten almost to death and one look at a woman gets him excited? Not!!

Stupid. Lightweight. Harlequin romance on steroids. More proof to me that anything on the New York Times Bestseller list is worthless.

I liked the book. Good story, good strong charachters. It's nice when the women aren't wimpy and can stand on their own. It ended too soon for me.
