Add a CommentI am a big Danielle Steel fan. Unfortunately I found this to be a very boring book. I finished it but I really wanted to stop reading it quite a few times. Was very disappointing.
I agree it is a typical Danielle Steel novel. Characters and writing are the same in each book. She is the most repetitive writer I have ever read. I was half way through the book before the story started. Yet once again I will get her next book and love it. I am curious if her non-fiction book "Gift of Hope" will maybe give her some insight and a new story to write. I will be reading it next.
I enjoyed this. Typical Danielle Steele sadness and family drama abound. Great story. Great family. Great successes.
anytime a new danielle steel book comes out, put me on the list, thank you, denise l mullis
This is probably the last Danielle Steel book for me! Very boring, again, not well written - seems like someone else is writing Danielle's books now! I used to wait anxiously for every one of her books but this one and the last one I read were very disappointing. I agree, it was difficult to get through. I also felt like I was reading about her life with all the riches, money, glamor, etc. Don't want to hear about rich people getting richer! Don't recommend if you're a Danielle Steel fan.
I agree, boring and repetitive.
Very boring book, couldn't keep reading it I was soooooo bored
