Add a CommentA decent read with good character development, but a poor conclusion. There could have been a lot more depth to the book and the story.
Wow! What a great novel. Without a doubt one of the best thrillers this reader has encountered this year.
I'm becoming a great fan of Koryta. This was well-executed and kept me reading into the night. I will explore some of his earlier works now.
Secrets....everybody has them. Some are painful, some are self-serving & some are deadly. This is the story of 2 brothers long separated by a tragedy in their youth who have chosen different paths but are never actually that far apart. Someone is playing a horrible game to test their relationship, loyalty & faith. This is a thriller but as much psychological as physical. At times it's like watching a car crash through your fingers but you can't stop reading til you discover the identity of the madman & who will walk away.
