Add a CommentRa'keeyah and her friends Shayna and Quiana are HS students who want more than they have. Shayna and Quiana are cousins, who are being raised by Shayna's mother, and who we find out during the course of the book have been sexually molested during their early childhood years. Ra'keeyah and her younger brother Jaylen are being raised by their single mother. The teens decide to become paid private dancers for some older men. Ra'keeyah falls in love with a drug dealer and stops dancing, while the other girls take it a step further and starts sleeping with the men to make even more money. At the end of the day, relationships are broken, trusts are broken, there's a couple of pregnancies and a couple of deaths.
