Though the story keeps you spinning in circles at times, it is beyond worth the read. The whole angel vs. demons is really well done and the concept is really interesting; moving beyond the plain good vs. evil. There are a good number of surprises and all the characters are thorough and interesting in their own ways. As Anna falls in love with a certain guy (cough cough Kaiden) and becomes a bit obsessed.., I think most readers will as well. It's definitely worth the read for the characters, dialogue, romance, and adventure!!

Some parts were cheesy, but I was interested in the storyline and I do want to see what happens in the sequel. Worth reading if you are interested in a light romance type book.

Although I am not a fan of angels and devils, the romance is enough to keep anyone engaged! The main character's bittersweet story pulls on your emotions, and it is hard to stop reading!

Wow. Amazing book. I wasn't a demon vs angels fan before but this book absoultely changed that. I was first drawn to it by its cover and was skeptical but decided to give it a try and I am sure glad I did. Higgings is an amazing author. This book actually focuses on the Nephilim, the children of angels and demons, and the jobs of their fathers that these Neph must carry out. I highly recommend this book to YA romance lovers out there. It does contain mature content but it is absolutely amazing. I'm praying HarperCollins picks up the sequel. Fingers crossed! Oh, and be prepared to totally swoon over the British bad boy Kaidan :)

"What if there were teens whose lives depended on being bad influences? This is life for sons and daughters of fallen angels in Sweet Evil. Tenderhearted Southern girl, Anna Whitt, was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She’s aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but it isn’t until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage, and her will-power is put to the test. He’s the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna. A cross-country trip to meet her father forces Anna to face the reality that hope and love are not options for her kind. When she confronts her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?" -Taken from Goodreads
