Xam’d: Lost Memories: (A Japanese Anime by Studio Bones; Complete Series; Episodes 01-26): Opening Character Summary: A Boy: Akiyuki. A Girl: Nazuna: a pale faced and white haired, looking teenager sets off a spirit bomb that directly affects Akiyuki and changes him into Xam’d… and transforms his self in soma and soul. And another Girl: Nakiami: a red headed, compassionate, young lady, who cares for all creatures and especially their sorrows. Plot Summary: The world state, soaked in sadness, devoid of gladness, is mostly in a state of Military Madness. Inquisition ships scourge the skies. War is rampant in the hearts and minds. And those, who suffer, suffer, most needlessly. Many myriad minds divided via their own derision, fight one another and everyone, having no vision to see an utopist Elysian. And so, a journey of lost memories and lost children is about to begin. Opening Song Theme (OST) and Closing Song Theme (EST): “Shut Up and Explode” OST: is In English: So much energy can’t be contained… and it burst from when moments are at their very worst. Super powerful sounds, themes, and animations, explode. Is vivid and lively livid. Is melancholic like nostalgic alcoholic. Boot beating pulsations vivaciously vibrate. This matured fool feels the opening song sung to be quite cosmically and charismatically cool. The “Vacancy” EST: is also sung In English: The EST is both sad and strong in its ending themed song sung. Story Music: Smooth, light, and gentle when it wishes to be. Additionally, it’s powerfully poignant when it wants to be. Voice Acting: I liked. I had felt that it flowed favorably well. It didn’t feel phony. I felt the voiced voices had conveyed heartfelt, honest sincerity. English Audio and Written Script: I thought and felt honest sincerity to emanate from script. Well written and well said. The writers wrote meaningful lines that were filled with meaningful words. Characters: Relatable or not relatable? And how are they relatable? Xam’d, having an awesome and cosmic cast core of characters, and who having vast character qualities and vast character capacities to create tantalizing tale, it was to me… a most terrific treat. Important Themes: toe tapping, letters written and read, questions are important, respect words, inner peace, think for yourself, mental madness, the cycle repeats. Some Similar, Stories, Series, and Titles: Arjuna. Capcom’s: Breath of Fire series. Extra Tinkering Thinking Thoughts: Nekomata: cute, squeaky, green rodents… er… rabbits… umh… well, whatever those things are, they're cute. Benign Benevolence is already within you… this Bliss has always been within you… you just need to wake up… to awake from your tired and weary, walking travels… my nameless friend. The story of Xam’d contains some of the most poetic lines ever spoken and ever to be written. Xam’d: Beautiful from its very beginning to its very end. Rating: 6.0/5.0; Xandor Who
