One of the better books I've read in a while. Great plot, characters and characters. Pick it up if you don't mind a bit of blood.
Fast pace action with moral choices. The Immortal Rules combines the best of the vampire mythology with a new twist. Allie Sekemoto is a human living in the Fringe. When she meets Kanin her life changes forever and is forced to leave all she knew behind. With a powerful plot and well thought out characters The Immortal Rules will be one of my favorite books of all time.
love the book so far. I had to return it couse it was overdue, so i wasn't able to finish it. I had other books to read and parties to go to. but anyways I couldn't put the book down. I read something about a new book from julie kagawa, Ann Aguirre and Karen Duvall that comes before the immortal rules. Kind of a three story book. THe title is "Till the World Ends" I can't wait ;)
I guess my opinion cannot make anyone love this book as much as I did, not necessarily, and some may find reason to complain in places I did not, that is fine. This is just a review, nothing more, and this is me clocking in to say that I FREAKING LOVE EVERY BIT OF THE IMMORTAL RULES! In every way, this book is stupendous. The Immortal Rules was innovative, exciting and everything from the well-spun plot, fabulous characters and great world building left me with a huge sense of satisfaction and definite plans to get my hand on that sequel. **Review taken from my blog, Choice Reads**
Interesting premise and well written. Certainly better than the Twilight drivel. Look forward to the sequel.
This book is great i hope the next book comes out soon!
Love Julie Kagawa's past writing and of course jumped on the chance to read her newest book. It was of course fantastic and very well written. All kinds of vampire books have been written and exploded into the book world but this one was different. It was darker and grittier than most other books that I had read. Loved it and loved the cliffhanger ending (although it made me rather upset) I cannot wait for the sequel to come out! Read it! You will be glad you did!
i wanna kno what happens to kanin :O
Finally, a modern YA novel without an obvious love triangle from the first half of book one. I like how this book gave the main character more background and an insight into her personal morals. This is the first book from the Blood of Eden series, and I plan on reading the rest. :D
