Summary
Add a SummaryOne of the better forays into the world of zombies in anime. Fully approved by George A. Romero. A mature anime no doubt, with violence and "fan-service" galore. What happens when Japan is hit with a zombie outbreak like in Dawn of the Dead, or other classic zombie films? No magic spells or giant robots to help you here. Bouncing breasts aside, this is a well written/drawn tale of just what can happen when one idiot gets bitten by a zombie ... and then bites another idiot ... and so on ... quickly enveloping the campus. The story tells the tale of a group of high school students and teachers from different walks of life coming together to try and survive the outbreak. Well worth watching if you are interested in zombie horror/gore titles ... and can handle some extra curves thrown in for good measure.

Add a CommentThis movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.

yes it is amazing and i would be one of the kids that would take charge and make a group too to get to a better place
for those who are not familiar with anime just because a title says "high school of the dead" does not neccassarily mean it takes place in a high school. two of the twelve episodes are in a high school. also i wouldnt reccommend it for newcomers to anime as there is a LOT of fanservice.
Anime "fan service" running wild. Those in the know, will know what I'm talking about.
