Add a CommentI read this book a few weeks ago after watching Ms. Vanzant on "Oprah's Life Class" webcast. I could hardley put it down. In my opinion, Ms. Vanzant wrote the book from the standpoint of not only the spiritual guider, but the one in search of guidance--which was unexpected, yet truthful. I recommend this book to anyone searching for that "peace" that seems to be so elusive. Ms. Vanzant's book is a testimonial that that "peace" is within us, all we have to do is find it. The search may not be easy, but its in there. I still have a long way to go in terms of feeling peaceful, but with books like these, my journey doesnt feel so cumbersome. Despite whatever current situation we are in, its all in alignment with GOD's devine plan for us. Knowing this provides comfort for me.
