Add a CommentI haven't listened to this album much yet, but I predict it to be good.(Right now as I type this, I am actually listening to The Beatles). I <3 The Beatles!!!!
@KerrAvon - actually, Kerr, there was one more tour after this album was recorded. A World Tour, as a matter of fact, which saw the Beatles visiting countries like Germany, Philippines, Japan & the U.S.A. throughout the summer of 1966 . I believe REVOLVER came out in early August, 66' but they wrapped up recording it in June. They would have to wait till 1967's SGT. PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND for that album to carry the distinction of being the first to be recorded by them AFTER they gave up touring. And yes, I agree with you - a classic !
Awesome! The first album made after they stopped touring, and concentrated solely on studio production, and we are glad they did! The ORIGINAL "un-butchered" Revolver, the way it was meant to be heard!!A classic!
I don't know why Sgt Peppers got all this hype, this one is better. The correct title is "Revolver".
