Fantastic. I read it in 4 days. The book definitely 'captures the zeitgeist' (from the review on the jacket). The master gets inside the good shepherds' scheming like nobody else.

I don't usually read this type of fiction, but I read a review and it sounded interesting.
It's mostly about the insecurity and paranoia of european police institutions with muslim immigrants who they suspect to be "funding terrorism".
The book is basically about extraordinary rendition, the disappearing of these type of people who are considered an enemy of the state, and sending them abroad to secret prisons for torture and detainment.

Quite scary..I wish more mainstream fiction would tackle issues like this!
