This book is good, but I felt as if the book didn't exactly pull e in. it isn't the book I would normally read. It is OK but it seamed the story a bit unreal.

Tomorrow when the war began is a great book and the start of a great series. You cannot put it down. John Marsden is a genius. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely love it, my favourite series along with 'The Hunger Games'! A great story of survival, friendship, fear, love, and whole lot more! I highly reccomend it!

Incredible book about growing up, that is suitable for anybody both boys and girls. I would recommend this book and the six others that follow it.

Ellie leads a normal mundane life in the country but when her friends and her decided to go on a big camping trip to a far off valley know as Hell her life takes an unexpected turn for the worse. When the teens arrive back home they discover that invaders have come and captured all their loved ones. They are one of the few groups of people who have not been captured. With their life in tatters they know what they must do - grab supplies and go and live in Hell. As the teens discover more about themselves then they want to know, ponder their own morals, fight against the invaders and even fall in love John Marsden takes us on a not-so-happily-ever- after journey through the eyes of a young adult.

Tomorrow when the war began is a novel written by John Marsden about seven Australian teenagers, who camp out in the bush for a weekend holiday. They return home to Wirrawee to discover all of their parents missing. Australia has been taken over and they have to fight back. Tomorrow when the war began tells their story of fighting for Australia, but will these teenagers be able to survive fighting against highly trained invaders? or will their attempts to save Australia go disasterously wrong?

Sexual Content: Quite a few references to sex and scences were people make-out/pash.

Violence: It is a book about war so a bit of violence is to be expected. Nothing to bad or bloody, mostly gun shots.
