This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. “Not too bad---good performance”. "I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.”

A good historical drama movie, perfect for those dreary snowy nights. A fair warning though, this movie isn't for the faint-hearted. There were some pretty gruesome torture scenes and realistic war portrayal. As a side note, Jack White of The White Stripes makes an appearance about 1 hour and 40 minutes into the movie, acting and singing. Pick this movie up if you like sound acting and raw emotion.
