I really liked this movie. A great cast of actors as well!

I hate to admit for falling under the spell of Nancy Meyer schlock, but this film is entrancing. It's imbued with such spirit and genuine intention. Given to the wrong cast, this film would have been awful. Instead, they handed it to greats: the unimaginably genius Diane Keaton and Frances McDormand, the charismatic Jack Nicholson playing what I can only conclude is himself, and just the right touch from lesser actors in smaller roles as is the case with both Keanu Reeves (who usually hands out wooden performances, but plays it better this time) and Amanda Peet (who plays the daughter role with, of course, youthful vibrance). I really enjoyed this film. You don't need to be ancient to like a film meant for "the middle-aged demographic". I loved this film as a kid and I still quite enjoy its entertainment value now. I'm sure I'll appreciate it even more with age.

Funny movie for the "older set" geared toward the 40+ crowd.
I enjoyed this clichéd movie more than I thought I would.

Witty and entertaining. A bit tiring to watch at times.

This movie shows the differences between dating in your 20 something and dating in your 40 something age grouping.
Some really comical scenes in this movie and very good portrayals by all.
