"They stuff people's heads down the toilets on the first day," he said. "Want to come and practice?"
"No thanks," said Harry. "The poor toilet's never had anything as your head down it- it might be sick." Then he ran, before Dudley could figure out what he'd said.
“So light a fire!" Harry choked. "Yes...of course...but there's no wood!" Hermione cried, wringing her hands. "HAVE YOU GONE MAD!" Ron bellowed. "ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT!”
“What happened down in the dungeons between you and Professor Quirrell is a complete secret, so, naturally the whole school knows.”
“Now, you two – this year, you behave yourselves. If I get one more owl telling me you've – you've blown up a toilet or –"
"Blown up a toilet? We've never blown up a toilet."
"Great idea though, thanks, Mum.”
"Interesting," said Ollivander dreamily. "Very interesting"...

Harry Potter nears his eleventh birthday and receives letters from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He goes to Hogwarts and has many adventures ending with a face off with Lord Voldemort.
Harry Potter is a 10 year old boy who's parents died in a car accident while he just got a scar when his head banged the car. He know lives with his aunt Petunia, uncle Vernon, and cousin Dudley who all despise him. He is just an ordinary boy with a miserable life and letters from a wierd school which his uncle and aunt hate. On his eleventh birthday, a huge man called Hagrid comes to his house to tell him the truth: Turns out, he is a wizard, his parents were killed by the most feared wizard of all time, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named or Lord Voldemort, and he survived with a lightning scar. And all these letters come from the best wicthcraft and wizardry school in England. Arrived at that school, he meets 2 students who become his friends: Ron weasley and Hermione Granger. And a enemy, Draco Malfoy. He then discovers that there is something hidden in the school and that someone wants to get it. Would he discover who it really is before its too late?
Before the start of the novel, Voldemort, considered the most evil and powerful dark wizard in history, killed Harry's parents but mysteriously vanished after trying to kill the infant Harry. While the wizarding world was celebrating Voldemort's downfall, Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall and Rubeus Hagrid placed the one year-old orphan in the care of his Muggle (non-wizard) uncle and aunt: Vernon and Petunia Dursley.
For ten years, they and their son Dudley neglected, tormented and abused Harry. Shortly before Harry's eleventh birthday, a series of letters addressed to Harry arrive, but Vernon destroys them before Harry can read them. To get away from the letters, Vernon takes the family to a small island. As they are settling in, Hagrid bursts through the door to tell Harry what the Dursleys have kept him from finding out: Harry is a wizard and has been accepted at Hogwarts.
Hagrid takes Harry to Diagon Alley, a magically-concealed shopping precinct in London, where Harry is bewildered to discover how famous he is among wizards as "the boy who lived". He also finds that he is quite wealthy, since a bequest from his parents has remained on deposit at Gringotts Wizarding Bank. Guided by Hagrid, he buys the books and equipment he needs for Hogwarts. At the wand shop, he finds that the wand that suits him best is the twin of Voldemort's; both wands contain feathers from the same phoenix
