Thank God he had Wilson! This is a pretty good movie considering it's mostly just Tom Hanks but he does a great job as "Chuck". Sometimes long but still quite enjoyable.

When I first saw the preview for this film & he's on the island, yelling out if anybody's there, I couldn't help calling out..."Gilligan!!!"

Got a question what does he write on the rock four years later on the wall just before he leaves the island? Could someone tell me!!!

The part on the island was pretty entertaining but the part before and after island were routine and boring. I can't stand his wife. And the end where he finds another woman randomly is too precious.

This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.

This is basically a one-man show, so if you don't like watching Tom Hank, which you pretty well have to throughout the film, you should skip it. Otherwise, this is a pretty realistic survival story, one with several memorable moments of emotion. A good watch.

Tom Hanks does a great job considering the majority of the movie is just him. You actually almost want to cry with him over Wilson!
